Our church

A family of Oromo believers in Atlanta, gathered around Jesus Christ.

OECA is a home for Oromo families, elders, young people and anyone looking for a place to belong. We worship together, open the Scriptures together, pray for one another and share life as a community.

Following Christ means serving the people around us, in our church and across Atlanta. Whether you grew up in the church or you are visiting one for the first time, there is a seat here for you.

What a Sunday looks like

What to expect on Sunday

If it is your first time with us, here is what a Sunday looks like. You don't need to know anyone or bring anything.

Worship
We begin by praising God together in song. Sing along, or simply listen and take it in.
Preaching
A message from the Bible that speaks to everyday life, to faith and to family.
Prayer
We pray for one another, for our families and for our people, here and back home.
Fellowship
After the service, stay a while and meet people. No one should leave as a stranger.
Community
Elders, parents, young people and children side by side. Come as you are and bring the whole family.
